A new six week course of Beginners Yoga classes commences on Monday 24th February 2014 at The Ananta Yoga Studio, Wicklow.
Are you fed up with the recent severe weather conditions and feeling tense, stiff and restricted in your body from bracing yourself against the elements? Would you like to come out of hibernation and prepare for the hopefully more pleasant Spring and Summer months ahead?
Yoga is the perfect way to achieve this and leave you feeling refreshed, open in your body and mentally awake and positive again to enjoy and live life to its full potential.
Introduction to Vinyasa Yoga for Beginners courses:
This is a gently paced, well planned course of generally 6 – 8 consecutive classes which starts at the very beginning. Students learn how to align, open and strengthen the body gradually while stabilizing the platforms of the feet and ankles, hips and pelvis and shoulder girdle.
Correct use of the breath is introduced and an intelligently sequenced class of classical yoga postures is taught using modifications and variations when necessary. Students are encouraged to relax and work at their own pace in a safe and non-competitive environment.
Suitable for those with little or no yoga experience, who are recovering from illness or injury (consult your GP first), post-natal Mums (must have had 6 week check following normal delivery or 12 weeks check following Caesarean Section) – also suitable for practitioners who simply prefer a more gently paced class.
Open to male and female students of all fitness levels ages from 15 years of age and over.
Booking essential as limited places.
