Vinyasa Yoga News – New block of classes & courses from Monday 4th April!
Hi everyone!
Welcome back!
I hope you have all had a lovely Easter and a bit of a rest. We are all set for another busy six week term of classes at The Ananta Yoga Studios and as always are really looking forward to seeing you and getting back on the mats with you for regular weekly classes. We also would like to welcome all the new students who have enrolled for the first time in our classes.
Class Schedule expands again!
The Ananta class schedule has been updated for this third term of 2016 and we are delighted to be adding even more classes once again to the already busy timetable.
Current Teacher Training Programme comes to an end.
Last week over the entire Easter weekend, the 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Training which has been running in our studios since October 2014 under the guidance of David Curtis of Vinyasa Yoga Dublin sadly came to its conclusion.
It has been the most amazing journey for all concerned – intense, challenging and – no doubt – tough at times, but a profound, life changing experience for all the dedicated trainees. I feel privileged to be have been part of this process, to practice along side my students as a student too and also to be able to observe their growth and evolution as practitioners & teachers and learn so much from them all.
We owe a huge thanks and much gratitude to Dave Curtis for delivering such a brilliant training and for leading his trainees through the process with dedication, honesty and wisdom. Dave has been running these teacher trainings for 12 years in various locations throughout Ireland and we have been so lucky to have him teaching regularly at the studios and leading this great training. We are also very excited that he will be bringing Shadow Yoga to The Ananta Yoga Studios from April this year and that he will be continuing to guide us.
New teachers and new classes!
What has made the Teacher Training Programme at Ananta very different and pretty unique to the best of my knowledge – from the many 200 hour programmes being run in Ireland and throughout the world – is that it was spread out over a two and a half year period to ensure the highest standards of personal practice and foundations for teaching were established.
I am delighted that from next week two of the students who have undergone and successfully completed this intensive training programme – Louise Curran & Vanessa Peare are now qualified to teach and will be taking regular weekly classes at the studios. Both have been dedicated students in my classes for several years before undergoing the training programme under the guidance of Dave Curtis and I know that students attending their classes will be in good hands. Congratulations to them both! We will hopefully be introducing more of the newly qualified 200 hour teachers over the next few months.
Vanessa will be introducing a new Monday morning beginners class and Louise will continue with the classes she ran last block plus one or two new times have been added to her schedule.
You can find their weekly class times and much more as always on our website – www.anantayogastudio.com
Please stay tuned to the studio facebook page – anantayogawicklow and read our newsletters each Thursday as we have some great workshops, trainings and events planned for the next few months! Many of these are already up on the Events listings on the facebook page. Also – dont forget that besides our many Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga Classes we also have Pilates, Somatic Movement and Pregnancy Yoga classes, our Kids/Teens classes, Mindfulness & Meditation courses all led by experienced and highly qualified instructors! Its all go at The Ananta Yoga Studios!!
Hope to see you next week!
